The job has changed. Agents moved the entry point up, past the code, to deciding what gets built, how it fits, and whether it can be trusted. It’s hard to know what’s worth learning right now, and that’s the question this community exists to answer. The answer isn’t prompt tips. It’s knowledge built the way it’s always been built: by doing.
Six years took this community from beginner.py to Beginner.Codes to Smarter Dev. We wrote 831 challenges along the way, one every weekday for three and a half years, until we maxed out what the format can do.
That ceiling is why we’re building what’s next, in the open: the Resources agent, RunHacks challenges, the Gym, and one day the Lab. In the open means the front-page roadmap stays honest, previews are labeled as previews, and progress lands in the Discord first.
